The main entrance of Arcanum is accessible with a ramp and an automatic door. The building is equipped with an accessible restroom. The event will be organised on the first floor of the building. The auditorium is accessible.

ABOUT VERSOVerso is a sustainability-themed, multidisciplinary event, targeted at all students at the universities of Turku. We want to bring together both local and international students of different fields, and showcase inspiring research, projects and organisations.

PHILOSOPHYOur idea – the seed that Verso sprouted from – is to help both local and international students of Turku connect across different disciplines. We see that to build a more sustainable world, multidisciplinary and international cooperation is necessary.
However, students of different fields tend to stick with each other. This might be the case in working life too, as we often end up working with people with similar skill sets or educational backgrounds.
PROGRAMMEThis spring, the program of Verso will consist of presentations, workshops, and a small exhibition area.

The event will be organized in cooperation with Humanitas ry and the City of Turku. Our funding has been provided by an international climate fund called Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund, which supports youth-led climate initiatives across the globe.
Verso encourages multidisciplinary cooperation between students, researchers, businesses, and organisations – Carbon Neutral Turku 2029 will be built together.
